What I remember the age old compound words. These are not called portmanteau... Portmanteau means two words clubbed together and a new word is generated. Later this new word is added in dictionary if it becomes popular, like Breakfast + Lunch is said BRUNCH, Mock + Documentary is said MOCKUMENTARY. I am just recollecting some Kannada compound words.
