Reality and thoughts
Our age old tradition of wearing kachche (kachcham) dhoti/ panche/ mundu/ veshti is not at all visible even inside temple areas of urban/semi-urban places. I see many orthodox Brahmin men wear dhoti like lungi and I don’t condemn them as it is still better than wearing pants. It is also observed that some men need the assistance of another person while wearing kachche panche (ಕಚ್ಛೆ ಪಂಚೆ).
It won’t take even one minute to wear kachche/kachcham dhoti without the assistance of anyone. Here below is my video, for the benefit of all brahmins who are yet to familiarise with this type of wear. It would be so nice to wear kachche/kachcham dhoti in the spiritual activities/ functions/ celebrations.
